He cannot go within one mile of any designated sports stadium. The restriction applies from four hours before kick-off until four hours after the final whistle.

This is not the first time Semenyo has faced such abuse. The 26-year-old Ghana international was targeted earlier this season too. While still with Bournemouth, he reported being racially abused by a spectator during a 4-2 loss at Liverpool on the opening matchday.

After that incident, Semenyo spoke out. He said football needs to do more. He suggested prison sentences should be on the table for those convicted of racist abuse.

Manchester City also weighed in. The club praised the quick action taken by Everton and Merseyside Police. But they had more bad news to share. England defender Marc Guehi, 25, was hit with a wave of vile racist posts on social media after the same match.

City released a statement expressing deep disappointment. They confirmed full support for both Semenyo and Guehi. The club stressed they will never accept discrimination of any kind in the game.

The back-to-back incidents serve as a painful reminder. Racism remains a stubborn stain on football. The arrests and statements matter. But players like Semenyo and Guehi keep facing the same ugliness, week after week.
