Sources confirmed the incident to Source on Monday. The attack happened around 7pm at Ilu-Abo community in Akure North Local Government. Three armed men emerged from a nearby bush and took the pastor away to an unknown destination. Sanny also works as a staff member of the Akure North Local Government.
The spokesperson for the police command Jimoh Abayomi said an investigation has been launched. Officers and tactical teams have been mobilised to the area. They are working to secure the safe rescue of the victim and track down those responsible.
