A bizarre and heartbreaking incident has left a village in shock as a farmer claims 140 chickens died from loud wedding music India and the deafening noise simply scared them to death.
The nightmare unfolded in Uttar Pradesh. Sabir Ali operates a poultry farm near a small village. On the night of April 25 a wedding procession passed right by his farm. The celebration was for the daughter of resident Babban Vishwakarma. The procession arrived with a massive sound system blasting music at ear-splitting volume. What happened next was utter chaos.
Sabir said the procession rolled past his farm around 9:30 p.m. The noise was so intense and thunderous that the chickens inside immediately began to panic uncontrollably. Birds started collapsing one after another. He told a source that the noise was so terrifying the chickens simply got frightened and died. He begged the DJ three separate times to lower the volume. The DJ completely ignored him. Sabir had no choice but to call the police control room in desperation.

A veterinary post-mortem examination was conducted the very next day. The findings were grim and undeniable. The cause of death was heart failure. Local police station chief Mahendra Pratap Singh confirmed the post-mortem showed the chickens died of cardiac failure. Experts note that high-volume sound waves can trigger acute stress responses in animals and in some cases lead directly to cardiac arrest.
Sabir raises about 5,300 chickens on his farm. He estimated his total losses at roughly 25,700 rupees which is about 300 dollars. The DJ initially promised to compensate him for the damage. But the moment police left the scene the DJ fled like a coward and vanished. The farmer was left counting his dead birds with nobody to help.
DJ owner Kavi Yadav was eventually arrested on suspicion of disturbing public order and causing harm to animals. He was later released on bail and has not issued any comment. The families of the bride and groom have also remained completely silent. Sabir is still waiting for justice while his farm recovers from the shocking and preventable tragedy.
